Bubble Classification Software Module
Detection, analysis and classification of individual microbubbles
The CLASSIZER™ Bubble Classification Module enables the detection, analysis and classification of individual microbubbles within complex samples. By identifying the distinctive optical signals generated by microbubbles, the software can separate them from other detected particle populations.
This capability supports two different analytical workflows
- Microbubble signal rejection, when bubbles may interfere with particle analysis.
- Advanced microbubble analysis, when bubbles are the target of the measurement.
- Separate microbubbles from particle populations.
Microbubbles present in a sample can generate signals that may be mistaken for particles or affect the interpretation of measurement results.
The Classizer™ Bubble Classification Module identifies microbubble populations based on their distinctive optical properties and separates their signals from those of other particles in the sample.
Users can then decide whether to exclude the detected microbubbles from particle analysis or investigate them as a separate population.
Microbubble signal rejection.
When microbubbles are not relevant to the measurement, their signals can be identified and rejected.
This helps users:
- distinguish microbubbles from particle populations;
- reduce bubble-related interference;
- avoid counting bubbles as particles;
- improve the interpretation of particle analysis results;
- obtain more reliable information from complex samples.
Advanced microbubble analysis
When microbubbles are the subject of the investigation, the module provides dedicated tools for their detection, classification and analysis at the single-bubble level.
The software makes it possible to:
- detect individual microbubbles;
- identify distinct microbubble populations;
- analyse their optical characteristics;
- evaluate the distribution of microbubbles within the sample;
- compare microbubble populations across different samples or formulations;
- monitor changes in microbubble behaviour over time.
Two workflows, one software module
Whether bubbles represent an unwanted interference or the actual target of the analysis, the CLASSIZER™ Bubble Classification Module provides the flexibility to manage their signals effectively.

Expand your CLASSIZER™ software capabilities
The Bubble Classification Module expands the capabilities of the CLASSIZER™ Software Platform, allowing users to manage microbubble signals according to the objective of each measurement.
Microbubbles can be treated either as an interfering population to be rejected or as a target population to be analysed in detail.
